7th ICC INDONESIA ARBITRATION DAY

Jakarta, 29 October 2025 — The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Indonesia proudly hosted the 7th ICC Indonesia Arbitration Day at The Westin Jakarta, bringing together prominent legal professionals, in-house counsel, and arbitrators from Indonesia and across the globe.

This year’s conference explored key developments and challenges in international arbitration, offering valuable insights tailored to Indonesia’s growing arbitration landscape. The discussions highlighted practical perspectives and emerging trends shaping the future of dispute resolution in the region.

Building on its strong tradition, ICC Indonesia Arbitration Day continues to serve as a premier annual forum for knowledge exchange and professional networking among the arbitration community. The event fosters meaningful dialogue, encourages collaboration, and promotes best practices in international arbitration.

Attendance was open exclusively to legal professionals and non-students, ensuring a focused environment for high-level discussions and learning.

Programme Highlights

The conference, held on Wednesday, 29 October 2025, at The Westin Jakarta, commenced with welcoming remarks and an opening address, setting an engaging tone for the day. This was followed by a Special Address that laid the foundation for insightful discussions and thought-provoking exchanges throughout the sessions.

The sessions were divided into three parts, each offering a unique perspective on the evolving landscape of arbitration in Indonesia:

  1. “Threading Tapestries: Taking Stock of Current Issues and Future Developments of Arbitration Law in Indonesia”
  2. “Balancing the Scales: Things in Check for Damages Claims in Arbitration”

In the afternoon, the event concluded with closing remarks of appreciation, followed by a networking reception that offered participants a valuable opportunity to connect, exchange perspectives, and strengthen professional relationships within the arbitration community.
